Last night my mom bought this unbelievably soft sweater with glittering pieces embedded into the fabric. It just screams femininity to me and I knew I had to wear it. ( Keep reading for more! )

So I decided to work on my art piece during my 4th period class and I found out that my friend was arguing with her friends about where I got my sweater from. Apparently they thought that I purchased this bow-embedded sweater with girlish tones at Free People! Can you believe it? Well, I sure couldn't. Let's face it--not everyone can afford to buy $100+ tops! So when I discovered that this $20 sweater from Marshalls was pleasantly mistaken for a roughly $100 sweater from FP, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with sheer satisfaction.
I was originally going to wear one of another of my aunt's gifted necklaces that resembled that of a mixed metal open circle but went with a more breezy and effortless look. The owl necklace added the perfect daintiness and to streamline on gold hints, I opted for my gold flecked lion ring. Feeling even more inspired, I grabbed my leopard-printed socks. (I guess my rising anxiety towards the annual zoo field trip for art is steadily contaminating what I choose to wear)
Black was also a reoccurring facet to my entire outfit which juxtaposed the cream white. I'm kind of a sucker when it comes to wearing pieces that are completely antithetical to one another.
Have you had any great buys lately? (;
